Optimizing
Optimizing

What's involved?

Whilst coding sites, one of the apporaches used is a 'less is more' philosophy. Less code results in more speed when referring to page downloading. That's a good thing. It's also easier to debug, edit and should you ever want to, learn!

Optimizing page and styling the code from scratch on a new site is a given, planning in advance ensures this. However, if you have a web site that's a few years old or one that's been developed using old techniques, it's worth checking to see if it can be optimized - whether it be updating the structure, converting to use CSS, stripping out excess code.

Even checking images is a worthwhile process as many are often excessively larger than they need to be for the online environment. This is a service which can also be provided.
