Designed and authored based on the PIVOT blogging system, this site has been heavily customized to remove unnecessary menus and blogging features to allow Holly to manage the content of each section as she needs. This was a full package of design of web site complete with content management, business cards, email signature and letterhead / footer images to provide Holly with a full branded style.

A newly redesigned site has now gone live for custom sportswear designers and manufacturers Rad Sheep. The updated cleaner, fresher and better structured design has been created by Luminance Design in conjunction with Rad Sheep director Garry MacClarren in mind of the content management system being built by Tony Earles at TND Net. This will allow Garry to make regular changes as he needs, only referring to Tony and myself as necessary. If you're a member of a sports team of any discipline, take a look and consider them for a kit!

A fresh start for the 2008-2009 tax year prompted me to redesign my site alongside reviewing my current business practices and of course, my rates. Naturally they will be increasing - but justifiably so, as I'm now focusing on CSS sites more than ever.
I'm no longer offering Flash services in favour of concentrating on using CSS to its full advantage. The new site is live but not complete or finalized by any means! I still have masses of copy to write and edit, images to grab for the 'surfing' and 'mailing' sections to display my work and no doubt several usability and optimization issues to deal with before I'm content with it.
Hopefully the new site will generate a bit more business as a result of the overhaul too, which would be no bad thing!

A site built for Creative Concern [an agency I regularly freelance for] on behalf of their client. Designed by Creative Concern, I've built it in my usual style - simple, elegant and semantic. The menu is a development of CSS I've come up with which retains its integrity if either or both images and CSS are disabled. Try it. You might like it.

With semantically re-written optimized code and external style sheets applied, this site is completely new in structural terms despite the design remaining unchanged. Now validating for both HTML and CSS, it's also usable on a 'small screen' device such as a PDA or smart mobile phone. I've also recently been involved in the redesign artwork for Jennie's new business cards.

After a few visits to have some my own instruments serviced, Phil asked me to take a look at adding a simple shopping cart to his site. After optimizing the site code to be more efficient and faster as well as improving the photos - including a spin off of the 'lightbox' effect, which provides more user interaction, Phil is now able to update content himself using Adobe's Contribute, including controlling the products on the newly created 'Buy Online' section.
